ABOUT US
Creating Meaningful Impact
Since our launch in December 2021, the ESBCLTRG's volunteers donate their time and talents to unite and empower the whole community to collaborate and problem-solve in the pursuit of recovery for affected residents. Members are those who adhere to the ESBCLTRG Bylaws and share in the mission and vision, choose to attend monthly meetings, provide feedback, and offer input and ideas that assist in coordination of educational, financial, human, and spiritual/emotional resources to meet the needs of the over 200 residents impacted by the flood caused by the remnants of Hurricane Ida during the Labor Day weekend, September 2, 2021.

The ESBCLTRG is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of local residents, businesses, volunteers, and other members of the community with a shared commitment to partner with faith-based organization, non-profit organizations; the business community; federal, state and local governments; and other willing partners to carry out its mission to serve the affected members of the community, regardless of race, religion, sexual preference, disability, economic status, age or gender.

Our Team
The ESBCLTRG is comprised of Board Officers and Directors who help facilitate the work done by the group through a democratic process informed by years of experience and academic knowledge. We are endlessly grateful for the hard work of our Disaster Project Manager, Kimberly Hopkins, who is our sole employee at this time.
