Our Work
Through the generous donation made by the Longwood Foundation in 2022, we've been able to begin our case management process. This has included hiring contractors, purchasing materials, and coordinating volunteer labor to repair damaged homes from Hurricane Ida.
Our process
Our disaster case management system includes a vulnerability needs assessment and follows the process outlined in this image.
Our funding
We are currently completing home repairs thanks to funding we received from the Longwood Foundation in 2022.

Our Community
We have been engaging in community events ever since Ida to keep residents up to date on our work and educate one another about flood risk and the recovery process.
Our collaborations
We are staying informed on the ongoing Lower Brandywine Flooding and Mitigation Study that is taking place across Delaware and Pennsylvania. We have collaborated on events, which has included providing a presentation of our group and sharing information with the community.
